Vincent Funeral Services is located in four locations on the North West Coast of Tasmania, with offices and chapels in Burnie (113 Bass Highway Parklands), Ulverstone (100 Eastlands Drive), Devonport (117 Forbes Street) and Latrobe (187 Gilbert St).
We are a family-run business which has been operating since 1868, firstly from Alexander Street, Burnie and since 1970, from our present modern facilities situated at Parklands, Ulverstone, Devonport and Latrobe. The Vincent family have continued the original Coastal Undertaking business, purchased from the Mylan family in 1929.
We can arrange and direct funerals from any location a family may wish, whether it be in their local church of any denomination, or from one of our chapels, or any other venue of choice.
Our Chapels
We provide four modern chapels with easy access and ample parking.
Our Parklands Chapel in Burnie overlooks the ocean, whilst our Garden Chapel at Ulverstone is set amongst a selection of trees and shrubs. Our Devonport chapel features a special committal area for services that conclude at the chapel. Our Latrobe chapel is conviently located in the main street of the town. All chapels feature a tranquil waterfall.
The chapels are fully carpeted and seat up to 150 people with standing room for 250 or more. Whether it be an intimate gathering or a large one we will ensure the atmosphere suits your needs.

The Vincent family have been arranging and directing funerals in North-West Tasmania and further since 1929. Three generations of the family have provided professional care and attention over the years.
Vincent Funeral Services is a member of the Australian Funeral Directors Association and is therefore bound by the association code of ethics and conduct.
